Orka Pot Holder, Charcoal Review

This is not pure silicone product, you can tell by twisting it - If you can see white patches/lines, then the product is being mixed with plastic. Since I only use it as a trivet, I believe this is no big deal and it works well as a trivet.

I know some of the silicone bakeware has plastic mixed in, that might be a potential health problem when baking in high heat since plastic can give off hazardous fumes. As long as you don't put this trivet under high heat, shouldn't be a problem.
