I really didn't like this garlic press.The black plastic presser plate is not sealed to the handle..there is a gap there that allows bits of garlic and water to get into the hollow part of the handle making it impossible to keep clean.Also when using, garlic squeezes out around the edges of the presser plate.I found this garlic press uncomfortable to use and bulky.I returned it and purchased the MIU stainless steel jumbo garlic press from Amazon.The MIU is well made and comfortable to use.I'm very happy with it.
