Wow, what a disappointment!I purchased this whisk because it had a wider, more comfortable handle and more tines than the whisk I had before this that I was replacing. It sounded really good, and the price was right for what I was looking for.I guess I got my hopes up too high, because I used it ONCE and it fell apart. All I did with it was whisk a roux for a soup I was making, so we're talking a couple tablespoons each of flour and butter.I whisked the roux together, and as soon as I tapped the whisk off on the side of my stock pot, not hard, mind you, one of the tines (I don't know what the technical word is -- the metal U-shaped things that make a whisk a whisk) fell off.I couldn't believe it!It was the first time I'd ever used this whisk, and I didn't use it forcefully or anything!I would not recommend buying this product because that's just ridiculous.I mean, a whisk should be able to take a beating (no pun intended), you know?Or at least hold up for at least 20 uses before it craps out on you.
